Internal defects are inevitable. Luckily they’re impossible to miss with iFA – Greefa’s advanced measuring system for internal quality. Not just defects such as glassiness and internal browning, but also product properties, such as Brix, are brought into focus by iFA. Special light penetrates the whole fruit and is collected by the sensor. Based on the analysis of this ‘residual’ light spectrum, all fruit species can be accurately graded.
