Heavy Duty Flail Chopper

The “Perfect” flail chopper line is designed to deal with heavier working conditions, not only for chopping prunings up to 10 cm (4”) diameter but also for other vegetation residues such as corn stalks etc.

Standard features include:

• Tractor 3-pt. linkage cat. I + II
• PTO speed 540 rpm
• Walterscheid PTO shaft W-2400 (model KG-180 and KG-220) W-2500 (model KG-245 HD)
• Drive through 4 V-belts with automatic spring loaded tensioner
• Max. height over the entire width 72 cm (28") (model KG-180 and KG-220) 77 cm ( 30") (model KG-245 HD)
• Mechanically parallelogram-type offset system
• Rear roller with large diameter and special covers over the bearings
• Flails mounted to the twofold electronically balanced vibration-free flail rotor with heavy 20 mm bolts and replaceable steel bushes
• Model KG/KK-245 HD with heavier frame, heavy-duty gearbox, larger diameter rear roller ø 219 mm (8") and flail rotor ø 219 mm (8")
• Adjustable rear opening cover and optional rear rake tines (model KK)

Optional Features:

• PTO shaft with overrunning clutch
• 0.8 kg (1¾ lbs) flails instead of 2.2 kg (5 lbs) flails
• Ram for hydraulic offset adjustment
• Front mounted models
• Wearing plates
• 2 pneumatic rear wheels 6.00 x 9 instead of the rear roller
• Rear rake tines (only KK models)
