The series DR variable width mowers consist of a rigid central section with an adjustable wing mounted on either side. The wings are operated by hydraulic rams which move smoothly and independently open and closed, to allow for an easy and exact adjustment of the cutting width in orchards and vineyards with different row widths.
Standard features include:
- Tractor 3-pt. linkage cat. I + II
- PTO speed 540 rpm
- Walterscheid PTO shaft
- Indirect and flexible drive through 2 gearboxes and V-belts (most belts with automatic spring loaded tensioner)
- Generously overlapping, replaceable and reversible swing-away blades with opposite rotating directions (DR-250 with fix blades instead of swing-away blades)
- 2 front support wheels and 1 rear roller with conical ends and special covers over the bearings (not on DR-250)
- 2 front support wheels located on the wings (Model DR-570)
- Support saucer with ball-bearings under the blade of the wings
- Tractor hydraulics required: 2 x DA (½")
Optional Features:
- Mow-spray-combination feature: with standard gearbox or with disconnectable gearbox
- Tandem roller (not on DR-250)
- Parallelogram-type offset feature: manual or hydraulic
